Assistant Professor Aleksandra Nikolova, PhD

E-Learning Specialist · Author of the educational series Little Explorers

Aleksandra Nikolova holds a PhD in Informatics and is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS). Her research interests include game-based learning, educational technologies, and the development of skills through interactive educational resources. 
She is the author of publications in prestigious international scientific journals, as well as the “Little Explorers” educational series, which includes original workbooks and mathematics and logic competitions for preschool and primary school children.

Ani Gigova

Mathematics Specialist

Ani Gigova holds a bachelor’s degree in Non-Formal Education and a master’s degree in Primary School Education from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has experience designing mathematical problems and is a co-author of a competitive mathematics workbook for second-grade students. She works actively with children from preschool through lower secondary school in extracurricular mathematics and Bulgarian language activities.

Emanuela Mitreva holds a PhD in Informatics, teaches computer science at university level, and conducts research in mathematics, artificial intelligence, and databases. She is the author of scientific publications in these fields.
